“Adjust Your Focus”

Although my father and my mother have abandoned me, Yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].

Further Thought:  Some may have come up in bad homes, where they were neglected. Some may have grown up in a one parent home where their parent had to work multiple jobs, so they were forced to miss out on somethings. Or some may have experienced the death of a parent at an early age.  Whatever category you may find yourself in, your new adopted Father is saying, I know, but I got you. Now come, take some time and sit with me and let me show and reveal to you the great things I have for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 New English Translation (NET)

11 For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the Lord. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.

Understand that no matter what you may have missed out on in life, God knew about it before you did, and it’s all been factored into the great plans he has for you. Now adjust your focus to your new identity in Christ.
