Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Get Excited”
Proverbs 4:20-22 King James Version (KJV)
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us of the importance of giving our full attention to what God has said. Let’s understand that the Bible is God speaking. Another way to say it: the Bible is God speaking to me. It’s God’s will that He has left all His children. So, the ways we discover what has been left to us are by opening His will (His word, the Bible) and positioning ourselves to hear His word, which is why you are reading today’s nugget.
As we begin this new week, let’s grasp the importance of hearing what has been left to each of us in God’s will, which is His word. Now, most people have seen the reading of a will in movies, and there is always someone angry because they were not given something they thought they were entitled to. As a result, emotions begin to run high, and this leads to a scene that would not be pleasing to the testator. However, as we take the time to read the will of God (His word, the Bible), there will be no arguing, fighting, or anyone saying they were left out of the will. However, I must warn you that there may be a few tears as a result of discovering what has been given that some may not have taken advantage of. The Good News is our heavenly Father has left each of us all the same benefits and opportunities to live the abundant life Jesus made available.
So, if God cared enough to include you in His will, shouldn’t you care enough to read it and take full advantage of every benefit? When you read the Bible, keep in mind that you are reading God’s will for you, which should make your time in His Word exciting and enjoyable. Amen!
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
