Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Restoration”

Psalm 19:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;

Further Thought:  Let’s remember faith in God only comes one way, and that is by hearing and continuing to hear what He has said, Romans 10:17.  At the time of the writing of Psalm 19, all they had was the “law,” the first five books of the Bible.  But now you and I have the entire book.  Today, we would say, “The Word of God is perfect”.  The word “converting” above in the Hebrew means to “restore to an original condition.” Your “soul” comprises your mind, will, and emotions.  So, no matter what you or I have gone through, the Word of God has been provided to restore us to our original state, as if it never happened.  Now, isn’t that exciting news to start your day with?  With that said, as believers who have accepted Jesus as Lord, we now have no reason to continue making excuses for our present condition.  Yes, what happened may have been unjust, but God’s Word provides total restoration.  Now, our part is to cooperate with God’s Word.  We do this by meditating, believing, receiving, and acting upon what God has said, and allowing His Word to do the restoring.
