It’s Working

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“It’s Working”

Mark 4:26-29 New Living Translation (NLT)

26 Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. 28 The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. 29 And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.”

Further Thought:  Did you notice the seed planted didn’t come up overnight or even in a week?  No, this passage reminds us there is a process, even with God’s Word.  So remember, once you plant the seed of God’s Word in your field [situation], it knows what to do.  Immediately, the process of producing the harvest you have begun starts, even though you may not see any initial evidence.  Now, your part is to protect your seed.  No farmer plants today, and tomorrow or next month pulls up his seed.  No, he protects his seed by watering it and keeping out pests or anything that would cause his crop to fail.  It’s the same with us.  Once we begin confessing and believing God’s Word, we can’t go back and speak words contrary to the seeds we have sown or act contrary to God’s Word.  We also can’t continue hanging out with those who speak contrary to God’s Word.  When we do, it affects what we are able to believe and receive.

So, as you confess God’s Word over your desired harvest, start saying, “The Word is working mightily on my behalf, causing my harvest to manifest.”  And you keep saying it until the full manifestation has come.  In the meantime, keep being a person of excellence [doing what you know is right], knowing that your seed is working.  Let’s remember that God’s Word is “incorruptible” seed.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
