Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Don’t Disqualify Yourself”

John 14:26 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

Further Thought:  Our Heavenly Father is absolutely committed to the success of His children.  Here, He reminds us that His Spirit, which He’s given to each of His children, will teach us all things.  Yes, that means “whatever” you need to know to be successful and to carry out your assignment on earth, He will teach it to you.  But He’s also promised not to let you or me forget “anything,” He’s said. [Take a moment to read verse 26 above again before you continue reading].

Now I know your mind wants to immediately reject this and come up with a reason why this can’t possibly happen.  But remember John 16:13-15, Jesus said, “The Holy Spirit would reveal to us what Jesus and the Father are saying and will show us things to come.”  In other words, the Holy Spirit [God’s Spirit that lives on the inside of each of His children] will give us fresh daily insight (downloads) from Heaven.

Finally, this is where we must renew our minds with what our God has said, His Kingdom approach to life, rather than following what our head or society dictates.  So what do you need to know?  It’s available to you; now receive it, take it.  Let’s agree today with the one who created everything, so we don’t disqualify ourselves from His very best.
