Good Friday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“God Is Faithful”
Hebrews 11:11 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word.

Further Thought: Here we find Sarah, who was 90 when Isaac, her promised child, was conceived. Think about it: she must have thought about having a child during her time as early as 15. Now, 75 years later, she gets the child she has longed for. Not because she did everything right. No, we read in the book of Genesis that she and Abraham thought the child should be born through a younger woman, her maid, Hagar. Now, we won’t get into those details, but they endured what I call “unnecessary self-inflicted pain.” But even through all the pain and disappointment, she came to the point where she said, “God, you gave me a promise, and I’m not going to let it go.” I now call you reliable, trustworthy, and true to your word. She no longer doubted what God had promised, but became fully persuaded that he would do what he promised. So, despite all you may have or maybe going through, know that your good, good, Heavenly Father is reliable and trustworthy and true to His word. He is faithful.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
