Our Premium

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Our Premium”

Mark 16:15 King James Version

15 And he said unto them, Go ye [you] into all the world, and preach the gospel “good news” to every creature.

Psalm 103:1-5 King James Version

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul [mind, will & our emotions]: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. [These are just a small sample of the benefits our God has made available for His children. You will discover more as you read His will, which is His Word.]

Further Thought:  Now, the great commission Jesus gave His disciples in Mark 16:15 above-“Go into all the earth and preach the gospel”-hasn’t expired.  It’s now been given  to all believers as His representatives on the earth. Yes, our pastors, teachers, and evangelists can tell others about God, but we can also tell someone what God has done for us.  The sermon the unsaved are looking for is a demonstration of the Kingdom of God.  Romans 12:1 describes this as our living sacrifice, which is our reasonalble service as citizens of the Kingdom of God.  The unsaved [Those who don’t know the true and living God] are looking for evidence, and they will see and witness that through those who will tell their story.

Let’s also recognize that when we give in support of our local churches, we also make it possible for others to hear and know that there are benefits in the Kingdom of God, and Jesus said we are not to forget them.  Well, you may ask, “How do I apply for these benefits?” If you are in an accident, you would contact your insurance company and submit your claim if your premiums are current.  In the Kingdom, Jesus said in Mark 11:24 that your “faith” is your “Premium“. Jesus said, “What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them”. Remember, Hebrews 11:6 says “without faith [trust, confidence in God that he will do what he said] it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God to make a request must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.  So whatever you find yourself in need of —your faith, which is your premium — will cover the cost.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
