Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“You Choose”
Psalm 19:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Further Thought: As the Psalmist did in today’s passage, let’s choose to honor God with our words and thoughts. When we choose to honor God with our words and thoughts, it demonstrates our trust in him. Yes, when someone says or does something unkind, our flesh may want to respond with words that don’t honor God. It’s during these moments that we must slow down and remind ourselves that the battle is not ours but God’s, according to 1 Samuel 17:47. Remember, God said He would never leave you nor forsake you. So, recognize that He’s with you even during your periods of hurt and disappointment, and that He’s waiting for you to acknowledge Him so He can direct your path (show you how to respond). As you make your choice, let me remind you that, according to Proverbs 18:21, there are only two kinds of words: Words of death or Words of life. You Choose.
Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
