Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“You are Vital”

Romans 12:4-5 The Passion Translation (TPT)

4 In the human body there are many parts and organs, each with a unique function.

5 And so it is in the body of Christ. For though we are many, we’ve all been mingled into one body in Christ. This means that we are all vitally joined to one another, with each contributing to the others.

Further Thought:  So, when any team doesn’t have the required number of players, the game can’t start or continue.  As a result, someone has to forfeit.  So, when you and I don’t show up consistently in support of our local church, I wonder how many things go unfulfilled?  How many things God is unable to manifest in our lives?

Some of us may have been a part of a ministry that tries to do so much with so little, but it shouldn’t be that way.  We should not burn out while serving Christ. Jesus said his yoke is easy, and his burden is light.  Let’s remember we are a team [the body of Christ], and we need everyone in the game.  Now stop saying I don’t have a gift or talent to offer.  No, we all have at least one gift, and we need to use it not just to support our families but also to support our Kingdom assignment and our local church.

Could we, the church [body of Christ], be the problem why God is unable to manifest his Kingdom on the earth as he did when Jesus walked the earth?  Let’s remember Jesus said in John 14:12, “…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father”.  So, this is a question we all have to ask ourselves: Am I doing my part to advance the Kingdom of God?
