Good Friday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Remind Yourself”
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Further Thought: Let’s remember, according to Genesis 1:26-28, we are created in the image and likeness of God. In other words, we were designed to depend on God. Just as Ford never intended for you to take your Ford vehicle to the Honda dealer for service. Neither did our Heavenly Father create us to operate independently of Him. When something is not right, the first person we should turn to is Him. Yes, your friend or mentor may be able to help, but understand that they don’t know more than your manufacturer.
We are reminded in John 14:15 that we demonstrate our love for God by obeying what He says. Our obedience authorizes the Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit that lives in us, to reveal to us the mysteries of the Kingdom. So, even if things aren’t going as you planned, remind yourself and continue to remind yourself that you love God and He still has amazing things in store to reveal to you, that your senses aren’t able to recognize without the help of your helper, the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus said in John 16:13-15 that your helper (the Holy Spirit) “1 will guide you into all truth: 2 he will not speak his own words; 3 whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and 4 he will show you things to come”. That’s right, your helper is always tuned into the throne of God, and he’s waiting to reveal to you what he has heard and seen. So, remind yourself to acknowledge him and commune with him throughout your day.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
