Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Flip the Switch”

Mark 11:22-24 King James Version (KJV)

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain [problem, situation or circumstance], Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.

Further Thought:  In today’s passage, we find Jesus telling his disciples that they could access the same power he had just used when he cursed the fig tree in Mark 11:11-14, 20-22.  Let’s remember that the same power God used to raise Jesus from the dead is now on the inside of everyone who has received Jesus as Lord.  You see, the power of God is always available, but we must take advantage of the benefit.  Remember, your electric company only delivers the power, but they won’t flip the switch for you.  So when you decided to flip the switch to take advantage of the power, it wasn’t when the electric company delivered the power.  No, the power had already been supplied and was waiting for you to access it.  I want to encourage you to flip the switch today by using your authority, speaking words of faith, believing what you say, and taking advantage of all the power available to you as a citizen of the Kingdom of God.
