Stop Putting It Off

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Stop Putting It Off”

Luke 5:12-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 And it happened when He [Jesus] was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

13 Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him.

Further Thought:  Isn’t it encouraging to know that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever [Hebrews 13:8]?  He was willing over 2,000 years ago and is still willing today.  If you or someone you know needs healing, I want to encourage you to read the additional healing accounts below under “Additional references.”  As you read and meditate on each account, I want you to receive as they did.  Now, I’m not saying that everyone will see instant manifestation.  However, in four of the examples shared today, they received healing instantly, so that tells me it’s possible. Jesus reminds us throughout the New Testament that healing is available to all, and we receive according to our faith [Matthew 9:22 & 29; Matthew 15:29].  Mark 11:22-26 reminds us that when we pray [ask for what God has made available], we are to believe that we receive it, and Jesus said and we shall have it.  That’s right, we have to believe we have it before the physical evidence appears.  So stop putting your healing off, as if God has to do something else, and begin to see yourself whole and believe you receive as those in today’s passages did.

So, settle it that Jesus has made healing available to all, and since He hasn’t changed, then mix your faith (trust/confidence) in His provision of healing and receive.  Let me encourage you by reminding you that there are no accounts in the Bible of people coming to Jesus and Him saying, “No, or you need to wait a while and learn your lesson.”  So, if we find where Jesus did it for one person in the Bible, it’s also available now.  Now, you may say I don’t need healing.  Well, praise God, but on this journey, we call life, you will need God’s healing power.  The good news is that as you meditate on today’s references, you will have God’s word on healing stored up, so it will be easy for you to receive.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
