Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“He Heard You”

1 John 5:14-15 King James Version (KJV)

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him [Our God], that, if we ask any thing according to his will [His Word], he heareth us:

15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Further Thought:  I don’t know about you, but I have some prayers [requests] I’ve made to God in faith that I haven’t seen manifested.  But I’m encouraged when I read passages like today’s scripture that remind me that when I pray in agreement with what God has said, He hears me.  Now, today’s passage doesn’t stop there.  It also reminds me that God not only heard me, but I can know with absolute confidence that I have the petitions I desire of him. Now those are resting words.  Words of peace for your spirit, soul, and body.

If you are still not convinced, let’s bring Mark to the witness stand and hear what he has to say:  Mark 11:24: “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.”  Now that you believe you have received [those things you desire], there’s no need to pray for that again, but remain in rest, giving thanks to God that He is watching over His Word to ensure it manifests in your life, according to Jeremiah 1:12.
