“Prepare, Watch & Expect”

Psalm 5:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)

3 In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will prepare [a prayer and a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].

Further Thought:  When you don’t know what to pray, remind God what He said in His Word.  Tell Him you’ve decided to trust what He said.

Today’s Prayer:  Father, this is the day you have made, and I’ve decided to rejoice and be glad in it.  I’ve decided today to believe what you’ve made available for me in your Word [be specific].  Instruct me and teach me in the way I should go on this day, according to Psalm 32:8 and John 16:13-15.  Connect me with the right people you’ve destined to be part of the great plans you have for me, and reveal to me those who are not part of your plans, according to Jeremiah 29:11-13.  I give you every care and every concern [speak them out] on this day, according to 1 Peter 5:7.  I give you permission in the lives of our world leaders, congressional leaders, state and local government officials, neighbors, family, co-workers, and friends [call out their names], according to 1 Timothy 2:1-4.  Now, by faith [trust and confidence in you], I’m going to relax, watch, and expect you to speak to my heart and to confirm your Word in my life on this day, according to Jeremiah 1:12. This is the sacrifice I bring to you on this day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
