Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Keep Life Simple”

John 15:1, 4-8 New King James Version (NKJV)

1 [Jesus said] “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.  4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.  5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Further Thought:  Today’s passage provides the success principles of Jesus for mankind to fulfill all he’s destined them to accomplish. 

1. Keep your life simple by staying connected to Jesus, the vine. Remember Jesus said he will never leave you nor forsake you. [Acts 10:24, Deuteronomy 31:8 & Hebrews 13:5]
2. Don’t allow the words of Jesus to depart out of your mouth, but meditate on them day and night. [Joshua 1:8 & Proverbs 4:20-22] Cast down every thought of defeat with what Jesus has said. [Isaiah 54:17 & 2 Corinthians 10:5]
3.  Let your faith (confidence in Jesus and his words) speak/call forth the desires of your heart. [Psalm 37:4-5 & Mark 11:22, 24-26]
4.  Now, expect your desires to manifest. [Joshua 1:8, Proverbs 4:20-22, Mark 11:22-24 & 1 John 5:14-15]

Let me encourage you not to make your life any harder than it needs to be by following the success principles of Jesus to keep it simple.
