Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Activating God’s Promises”

Hebrews 11:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us as believers:

#1 Faith (trust / confidence in God) is not an option in the Kingdom. It’s the currency of the Kingdom. Whatever God has provided by grace must be received by faith.  Remember, according to Hebrews 4:2, the Word of God we hear must be mixed with faith.

#2 When you don’t trust what God has said, notice what He didn’t say: He didn’t say He was mad at you; He didn’t say He doesn’t love you anymore. No, He’s not pleased with you at the moment. But you can fix this. Amen!

#3 Let’s recognize that our faith [trust, confidence] in what God has said activates the promises of God. So, without it, we (not the Congress, President, or high gas prices) limit what He is able to do in our lives.

# 4 According to today’s passage, we must believe that He is the true and the living God, and that He watches over His word to ensure it comes to pass.

Yes, it’s been said before, but we must continue to repeat it:  So, whatever you are facing, find out what God has said about it and begin to renew your mind with that truth. Meditate and chew on it until you are fully persuaded. Then, with absolute confidence, you can believe it, receive it, and witness the activation of God’s Promises in your life.
