Good Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Claim What’s Yours”
Psalms 103:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
1 Bless the Lord, O my soul [mind, will & emotions]: and all that is within me [example: heart, lungs, blood, kidneys..], bless his holy name [your heart, lungs, blood bless the Lord, by functioning in the perfection to which they were created to function. So, you must command/tell them what to do].
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities [sins]; who healeth all thy diseases; 4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us of a few of our many benefits as citizens of the Kingdom of God, but they all must be claimed. Think about it: A benefit is no go if it’s not claimed. We’ve shared this before, but let’s remember that faith in what God has said comes only one way: by hearing and continuing to hear what He has said. Let’s recognize that the “power company” will only deliver the power, but they won’t claim it for us. We must flip on the light switch to claim the power. Your gas company will deliver the gas to your home, but they won’t claim the gas for you. No, you must turn on the oven or stove to claim the power. God has delivered to us everything we will need to live a victorious life, but He won’t claim it for us. No, we must dig into His Word to find out what He has provided [benefits], and claim what belongs to us.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
