Don’t Let It

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Don’t Let It”

John 14:1, 27 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

14 [Jesus Said] Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.

27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

——–

Further Thought: This morning, Jesus reminds us that worry or distress should not control the life of those who trust in God.  Now each of us must make the decision, “I’m not going to allow my heart to be troubled. I’m not going to allow myself to worry. I’m not going to allow fear to govern my decisions.” Instead, let’s choose to receive by faith what Jesus has freely provided, and that is the gift of peace of mind and heart. Now this will require us to change what we are looking at and focusing on. I trust you will make all required adjustments and not allow your heart to be troubled.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
