Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Wake them Up”

Psalm 37:4 King James Version (KJV)

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Mark 11:24 King James Version (KJV)

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.

Further Thought: The passages above remind us that God has prepared His best for us, His desires.  So, when we see others cheating their way to the top, God says, “Don’t worry, I’ll give you what you need as you delight to spend time with me” (see Psalm 37:1-4).  We will never miss out when we obey God. Mark 11:24 reminds us that once we are convinced of the desires God has given us, we are to acknowledge those desires in prayer to God.  And God said, when we believe and receive those desires, He will ensure we get those desires in our lives.  Can you see that it’s always been God’s desire for you and me to receive His best?  So, as you spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, you will know without any doubt what those desires are that you should be praying for.  As men and women of faith, Mark 11:24 above reminds us how we should pray.  You see, if we don’t have a desire for something, then it’s a waste of time to pray for that, because our faith works by love.  Now, let me encourage you to wake up the desires God has given you by praying daily for the things you desire.
