Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“His Love for You”
Romans 8:32 New King James Version (NKJV)
He (God) who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:33-39 The Message (MSG)
And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. We’re sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one. None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

Further Thought: Verse 32 above reminds us that God has already given us His best when He gave us His Son, so everything else we would ever need is included in His sacrifice. Now our part, according to 2 Peter 1:3-4, is to get to know God by discovering all He’s provided in His love letter to us, which is His word. We discover in verses 33-39 above that God is daring anyone or any force to come against you. Let’s remember that not only does God’s Spirit live in us, but we also have angelic help, according to Psalm 91:11 and Hebrews 1:14. That’s right, it’s nothing our Good God won’t do for you to assist you in accomplishing the great plans He has for you. So, remind yourself that there is no reason to fear or doubt. Now that God has demonstrated and reminded you of His love, the ball is now in your court to trust and rely on His love.
