Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Show & Tell”

John 16:13-15 New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB1995)

13 [Jesus said] But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.

15 All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

Further Thought:  In the passage above, the “Spirit of truth” is the Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit that lives in everyone who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Did you notice seven times in today’s passage what the Holy Spirit will do to carry out the agenda of heaven on your behalf? Today’s passage also reveals that it wasn’t the Education System that originated the idea of “Show and Tell”.  No, it was Jesus.  In today’s passage, we are told that every day in the Kingdom is “Show & Tell”.  Jesus has spoken to the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is ready to transmit.  Now the question for us is: are we taking a few minutes each day to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, to receive what Jesus has spoken to Him to speak to us, and to show us things to come?  So, when we don’t take the time to participate in “Show & Tell” with the Holy Spirit daily, we limit what He can do in our lives.  Could this be why we are not receiving answers to our prayers? I want to encourage you today and every day to get your coffee, tea, or favorite drink and talk with the Holy Spirit, who has valuable information to share with you.
