“Check In”

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Further Thought:  Today’s passage is a reminder that we have help in all we will encounter today.  God wants us to start each day on track and to stay on track.  And we stay on track by acknowledging God’s Spirit, the Holy Spirit that lives in us, in all we do. Here are a few examples to get started:  When you get up in the morning, acknowledge the Holy Spirit: Good morning, Holy Spirit.  Thank you for waking me up this morning.  Today, I trust you. Instruct me and teach me in the way I should go.  Throughout your day, acknowledge him by thanking him for his help, keeping you focused, and showing you how to handle difficult situations.  Before you close your eyes for the evening, acknowledge him one final time by asking him to reveal any required adjustments.  Remember, he is a person and a master communicator.  Now, don’t delay, check in.
