“He Needs You”

1 Corinthians 11:8-9 New Living Translation (NLT)

8 For the first man didn’t come from woman, but the first woman came from man. 9 And man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man.

Genesis 2:18, 21-23 Amplified Bible (AMP)

18 Now the Lord God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] suitable and complementary for him.” 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 And the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man He made (fashioned, formed) into a woman, and He brought her and presented her to the man. 23 Then Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.”

Further Thought: I want to talk with wives, but husbands need to know this too.  The above passages remind us that your husband needs you because you have something that came from him, and without you, he’s incomplete.  Now, this is not for you to hold this against him, but to understand that your Kingdom destinies are tied together.  So, recognize that the devil knows this, and he will do whatever he can to cause division, to keep you distracted.  Now that you know, I want to encourage you to protect what God has joined together.
