“Show Compassion”

Galatians 6:1-3 The Message (MSG)

1-3 Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day’s out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.

Further Thought: 2 Corinthians 5:20 reminds us we are ambassadors for Christ, His representatives here on the earth.  Recognize you may be the only church someone hurting ever sees. This is why our personal testimonies are so important.  The things you and I have experienced are not just for our learning, but also to share with others as we are led by the Holy Spirit.  Those who don’t know Jesus are looking for evidence that He is alive and that He will demonstrate His power in their lives.  So, today let’s be on the lookout for opportunities to show (demonstrate) the love of God.
