Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“The Name Above All Names”
Philippians 2:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

Further Thought: As believers, we have the right to use the name of Jesus against any attack of the enemy. Now, this doesn’t excuse us from knowing God’s word concerning a specific matter, but it does help to keep life in the Kingdom simple. So, when you find yourself faced with a challenge, use the name of Jesus against it. What you are saying is, I trust Jesus, and whatever you are facing is trespassing on Kingdom property. Yes, I know this goes against what we sometimes hear on a daily basis. I hear people using the name of Jesus, but they are using it instead of using profanity, as if Jesus is the cause of the problem they are facing. According to today’s passage, they should just say what they really mean and leave Jesus out of it. Amen!
John 1:1-4 reminds us that Jesus is the Word of God. So, if whatever we are facing goes contrary to what God has said, let’s use the authority we’ve been given to speak to it, according to Mark 11:22-23 and Isaiah 54:17. Let’s also be reminded that none of us is immune to attacks. As long as we are on this earth, we will be attacked with colds, flus, migraine headaches, and other symptoms, but none of these names are above the name of Jesus. We’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating: “faith in God doesn’t deny the problem, but it does deny its right to remain.” Now that we’ve been given the authority to use the name that is above all names, it’s up to us what we will do with it. I want to encourage you to continue speaking to everything in your life that doesn’t agree with God’s best for you. You tell the sickness or whatever you are facing what God’s word says and command it to go in Jesus name. And remember, Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that if you believe what you say, and doubt not, you shall have what you say.
“The Name Above All Names – Jesus”
It’s above every sickness
It’s above hate
It’s above unforgiveness
It’s above all fear
It’s above all worry
It’s above all lack
It’s above every name
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
