Will You Tell It

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Will You Tell It”

Matthew 9:35-38 New King James Version (NKJV)

35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel [good news] of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us that there is no lack of power in the Kingdom of God. Jesus said the issue is a lack of those who will tell what has been provided in the gospel [good news]. God has chosen the method of prayer, which permits Him to send laborers to tell the lost about the good news. Remember, according to Psalms 115:16, God has given the earth into the hands of mankind. So, be prepared when you pray for God to send laborers; He may say, “Can I send you?” Now don’t get nervous. Your availability doesn’t require you to have a degree in theology, but only that you be prepared to share with someone the answer God has provided in His word. So, when the opportunity presents itself, can God depend on you to tell His good news?

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
