“Don’t Be Ashamed”

Romans 1:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel [Good News] of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation [Greek word soteria literally means deliverance, preservation, rescue, and safety] to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek [non Jews].

Further Thought: If the gospel [Good News, God’s word] says that with God all things are possible, then that’s what we should believe and be willing to tell others.  Now, I have to warn you that it will take faith [trust, confidence, courage], according to Mark 11:22, to follow what God has said.  Now don’t be ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power [His benefits and privileges] that’s been given unto us today.  So, whatever you find yourself in need of, search for the answer in God’s word and don’t allow yourself to be moved by how things appear, how you feel, or the opinions of others, because they are all subject to change according to today’s passage.  But God’s word shall stand for ever.
