connecting with God and you!

He Won’t

Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“He Won’t”

Hebrews 13:5 New International Version (NIV)

5 … God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

1 Corinthians 3:16 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Matthew 28:20 King James Version (KJV)

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Further Thought:  Our first passage above reminds us that our God will never leave or forsake us.  Our second passage reminds us that we are God’s temple and that His Spirit dwells in us.  And our third passage reminds us that our God is always with us.  So, it’s not necessary to ask God to be with us. And how do you expect him to respond if you did ask him?  His response would be his word.  I can imagine him saying, Landy, didn’t I say I will never leave or forsake you? Didn’t I say my Spirit now dwells in you?  Didn’t I say I am with you always?  So, what’s the problem?  Our God wants us to be fully persuaded in knowing he’s with us, and if God be for us, who dare be against us?  I want to encourage you to go forth on this day, knowing who you are and who’s with you.  So, from this moment forward, let’s never doubt our God, who created worlds, will never leave or forsake us. He Won’t.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
