“It’s Meant to be Enjoyed”

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.  I [Jesus] came that [you] may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

…. My purpose is to give [you] a rich and satisfying life.

Further Thought: One of the tricks of the enemy is to deceive people into thinking God doesn’t want his children to have any fun.  Or they are going to have to give up something that they think they can’t live without to follow God.  This passage confirms why Jesus came to the earth: “that we may have and enjoy a rich and satisfying life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].  Does this sound like God doesn’t want His people to have any fun?  This passage also confirms that Jesus is concerned with every area of our lives. You and I were never created to live without Jesus.  So, let’s stop living life half fulfilled and start truly living and enjoying the abundant life Jesus has made available.  It starts with you and me spending consistent, quality time reading the “will” God has left us, which is his word. And Jesus said in Luke 12:32 that your heavenly Father has left you his kingdom.  Glory B 2 God!
