Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Search for Wisdom”

Proverbs 2:1-6 Living Bible (TLB)

1-2 Every young man who listens to me and obeys my instructions will be given wisdom and good sense. 3-5 Yes, if you want better insight and discernment, and are searching for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure, then wisdom will be given you and knowledge of God himself; you will soon learn the importance of reverence for the Lord and of trusting him.  6 For the Lord grants wisdom! His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding.

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us how we get the wisdom of God, and that is by being #1 willing to listen and #2 obedient to what we hear.  According to today’s passage, searching for wisdom must become a lifestyle.  We must seek God’s way of doing things consistently and not allow ourselves to quit if things aren’t happening on our timeline.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to make just good decisions, but wise and accurate decisions.  You see, God’s wisdom allows us to handle the situation the same way He would.  Now let me encourage you to keep meditating and chewing on the answers God has provided in His Word because He has guaranteed wisdom.
