Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Check In”
Proverbs 3:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
——–
Further Thought: As we start this new week, God is reminding us to check in with him in all our decisions. Not just the big ones, but to acknowledge him in all our ways. No, we are not talking about what to wear or what time we should be at work or get off. You get to decide what to wear, and you have already entered into an agreement with your employer on your work hours. But today and every day God is saying, when you start your day, check in. Throughout your workday, check in. And before you close your eyes at night, check in. Remember, God has deposited his Spirit in each of his children, and the Holy Spirit’s assignment is to guide you throughout your day. He’s also been instructed to reveal to you and me the conversations of heaven according to John 16:13-15. So, even when you think you know what to do, check in and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal things to you that you may not have thought of. Revelation 1:8 reminds us that our God is Alpha and Omega. He’s already been where you are attempting to go, so why not check in with him in all your decisions, which positions you for success.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
