Stop the Struggle

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Stop the Struggle”

Mark 11:22-24 King James Version (KJV)

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain [problems or circumstances], Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive (take) them, and [you] shall have them.

——–
Further Thought: In verse 24 above, did you hear Jesus response to his disciples on how to receive whatever they desire?  Did you notice he didn’t say you need to pray more? No. Did you notice he didn’t say it may not be God’s will? No.  Did you notice he didn’t say only I can do this? No. He said to believe that you receive it, and you shall have it.  Did you also notice that your desires are voice activated?  You have to bring your request to God in prayer, and you are the only one who can do this.

Now Romans 10:17 reminds us how we receive the faith to believe we receive, and that is by hearing, and continuing to hear what God has said.  So, if it’s in God’s word, it’s available.  Now if you are still not convinced here is what God said in 1 John 5:14-15 “14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will [which is His word], he heareth us:  15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” Let’s not forget that, according to Hebrews 6:12, it is through faith and patience we inherit what God has promised.  Not every promise of God will appear overnight.  But it doesn’t matter because, according to verse 24 above, when you prayed, you believe that you receive, and now it’s God’s responsibility to manifest it in your life.  All the pressure is on God, and trust me, He’s not nervous.

So, today, let’s stop struggling to receive from God by simply following His guidance to receive all that we desire.  My question for you is, what do you desire that Jesus has made available to you?  Then believe and receive it.  Remember, Jesus is speaking in today’s passage, so if you have an issue with it, then talk with him about it.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
