Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Allow Your Faith 2 Work”

No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back one word of what I said.

Further Thought:  This passage is speaking of God’s promise to David and his descendants.  Acts 10:34 & Romans 2:11 remind us that God doesn’t show favoritism.  So, if we can find God doing it for someone in His word, we can also claim that same promise. 

Today’s passage reminds us that our God meant what he said, and he’s not changing.  He will not break His word. Psalm 138:2 reminds us that God’s word is even above His name.  God stakes His entire reputation on the truth of His promises. Hebrews 1:3 tells us that God “upholds all things” by the word of his power. Think about it; if God were to break His word, the whole universe would collapse because He upholds all things by the word of his power.

So, as a believer, what more do you require? Recognize that nothing is more valuable in your life than “God’s word.” So, relax, keep chewing on His covenant promises, and allow your faith 2 work, which is to believe and act upon what He has said.
