Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Have Confidence In God”

Mark 11:22, 24 King James Version (KJV)

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them [His disciples], Have faith [confidence] in God.  24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.

1 John 5:14-15 King James Version (KJV)

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him [Our faithful God], that, if we ask any thing according to his will [God’s word], he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions [requests, things] that we desired of him.

Further Thought: Now isn’t this Good News to your ears to start your day?  Today, we are reminded to pray God’s word.  Our part is not only to pray, but to believe what we pray and receive it—not based on how good we have been, but on the faithfulness of our God.  Amen!

Today’s Prayer: Father, thank you for reminding me of the confidence I can and should have in what You have said in Your word.  Today, I commit to renewing my mind according to Romans 12:2, until I’m fully persuaded of what You have said, and that is what I will pray, believe, and receive.  And while I’m waiting and expecting the manifestation, I will hold fast to the confession of my faith [what I have prayed, in agreement with what you have said], according to Hebrews 10:23.  In Jesus’ Name,

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
