Good Friday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Sow What You Desire”
Matthew 7:12 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Further Thought: Most know the above passage as the “Golden Rule”. Today’s passage reminds us that God has given us the key to living lives of peace, Godliness, and honesty: treating our fellow man the same way we would like to be treated. Think about it: If you, your child, or a family member were found guilty of a crime and facing many years in jail, wouldn’t you want those on your or their jury to be merciful? So, the next time you have the opportunity to be critical of your fellow man, put yourself in their shoes. When we think of it this way, it should lead us not only to be merciful but to begin praying, giving God permission in their lives. So, let’s begin and continue to sow into the lives of our fellow man what we desire to repeat. Remember we reap what we sow, more than we sow and later than we sow.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
