Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Faith Comes”

Romans 10:17 King James Version (KJV)

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

——–

Further Thought: As we start this new week, let’s remind ourselves what faith is and how we access it.  Faith is our truth and confidence in what God has said.  Now, according to Romans 12:3, our ability to believe and to receive what God has said was given to us [the measure of faith] the moment we received Jesus as our Lord.  Now, according to today’s passage, our responsibility is to position ourselves to hear God’s word and keep hearing what He has said, and the faith we need to access the promise will come. So, rest in knowing that the faith of God shows up the moment you position yourself to hear God’s word.  Now our part is to believe and receive (take) it, according to Mark 11:23-24.

Let’s understand that without hearing God’s word, it’s impossible to have faith in God.  Faith in what God has said is a mandatory requirement in the Kingdom of God. Remember, Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it’s “impossible” to please our God.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
