connecting with God and you!

Your Faith Connection

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Your Faith Connection”

Romans 12:3 King James Version (KJV)

3 So For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Further Thought: This morning, let’s recognize that “the measure of faith” God has given each of us allows us to do whatever He’s called us to do and to possess all that He’s made available in His word.  Now, there is a required connection between the measure of faith you have been given and what God has said in His word.  The two work together.  Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith in God comes only one way: by “hearing and continuing to hear what He has said.” In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus reminds us to use the faith of God, which is the Word of God, when we face any mountain [problem or circumstance] and when we approach God in prayer.  Now we must make the decision to schedule a daily appointment with God’s word, which allows us to maintain our faith connection.

Today’s passage reminds me that faith is never the issue in my life, but a lack of God’s word and my belief and confidence in what He has said.  Your measure of faith requires a connection, and that is with God’s word.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
