Praise God In Advance

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Praise God In Advance”

Romans 4:19-21 Living Bible (TLB)

19 And because his faith was strong, he didn’t worry about the fact that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred, and that Sarah his wife, at ninety, was also much too old to have a baby.

20 But Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened. 21 He was completely sure that God was well able to do anything he promised.

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us that believing God isn’t always easy. Depending on what you are believing God for, some of your closest friends and family may look at you and think you have lost your mind. But fear not; remember you are after results, and trusting God is the only way to get His results. So, when what you are believing for doesn’t look like it will happen, remember Abraham and Sarah, who had to wait 100 & 90 years for the one thing they wanted most. They didn’t give up, and you won’t either. According to Galatians 3:29, we are the seed of Abraham, so we also have the spirit of never-quit living inside us, and all we have to do is acknowledge and activate it. So today, be confident and stand on God’s promises. Don’t worry about when it’s going to happen. Remember, according to Mark 4:26-29, our assignment is to sow God’s word and protect it from all doubt.  Now, according to today’s passage, let’s begin to praise God in advance for what He has promised. Remember, your praise demonstrates your faith (trust, confidence) in God that he will ensure his word comes to pass in your life.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
