connecting with God and you!

Thanks for checking out The Connection Church online. If you’re in the Northern Virginia area and looking for a church, come be a part of what God is doing at The Connection Church.

We can’t wait to meet you!

Here are a few simple steps to connect with us:

  1. Join our Facebook Page.
  2. Get updates along the way with our email newsletter.
  3. Mark this Sunday at 10:00 AM on your calendar. We meet at Gar-Field Senior High School, 14000 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge. The building is right across the street from Potomac Mills Mall.

What should I expect?

Our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

The moment you walk through the glass doors on Sunday morning, you will be greeted by some very excited people! It’s our mission and intention to make everyone feel at home at The Connection Church, and we hope that your very first impression is a warm one. You can expect the service to last about an hour and 20 minutes—with fantastic kids programs and helpful hosts available to answer any questions you may have.

From the time you step through the doors to when you leave to enjoy the rest of your Sunday, our hope is that you experience the love of God!

What should I do with my kids?

Glad you asked! Our Kids Plugged In ministries are here to help. Our Seedlings nursery is open for your little ones from infant to 3 years old, and we have exciting Bible-teaching classes for your older children through age 11. We generally dismiss the kids to the nursery and their classes after praise and worship (Did we mention that we have a pretty great band that leads us in singing to the Lord each week?).

We strive for a safe and healthy environment for all of our little ones. Children showing any signs of illness are not permitted in class. Please help us by keeping your child out of class until he or she is free of any symptoms for 24 hours. Younger children will receive healthy snacks, so please inform the teachers of any allergies during Check-In.

Where do I park and enter the building?

We realize that because we currently meet in a large high school it might be a little confusing exactly where to go when you arrive. As you approach Gar-Field, you will see our large vinyl signs on the black fence along Smoketown Road. Then as you drive onto the property, you will see our parking signs indicating the most convenient area for you to park your vehicle. Additionally, there are signs leading up to the large glass doors which serve as our entrance.

What should I wear?

Some dress casually. Some wear a suit or their Sunday-Best dress. Whether you “dress up” or wear jeans and t-shirt, come be our guest this Sunday and enjoy the presence of God and the love of His people.
