Good Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“What’s Moving You”
Acts 20:22-24 New King James Version (NKJV)
22 And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, 23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. 24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God..

Further Thought: Today’s passage gives us a glimpse of how determined Paul was to complete the assignment he received from God. Even though the Holy Spirit revealed to him that chains and tribulations were waiting on his arrival. Nevertheless, Paul confessed his faith in verse 24 above, that “none of these things move me.” This needs to be our faith confession when faced with opposition while doing what we know God has called us to do.
Remember the authority given to you according to Isaiah 54:17 New King James Version (NKJV): “17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.” That’s right, anything spoken or done to you contrary to God’s word, you have received the command of God to condemn it. It’s your right, but you must exercise it. Now, I won’t ask what’s moving you. Instead, I want to encourage you to use your authority and move whatever is attempting to move you.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
