Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Have Confidence In God”

Mark 11:22, 24 King James Version (KJV)

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them [His disciples], Have faith [confidence] in God.  24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.

1 John 5:14-15 King James Version (KJV)

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him [Our faithful God], that, if we ask any thing according to his will [God’s word], he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions [requests, things] that we desired of him.

Further Thought:  Now isn’t this Good News to your ears to start your week?  Today, we are reminded to pray God’s word.  Now our part is not only to pray, but to believe what we say and receive it—not based on how good we have been but on the faithfulness of our God.  Amen!

Let’s Pray: Father, thank you for reminding us of the confidence we can and should have in what You have said in Your Word.  Today, we commit to renewing our minds according to Romans 12:2, until we are fully persuaded of what you have said, and that is what we will not only pray for, but believe and receive.  And while we are waiting and expecting the manifestation, we will hold fast to the confession of our faith [what we have prayed], according to Hebrews 10:23.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
