“Don’t Allow It”

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Further Thought:  Today’s passage reminds us when we allow envy and strife in our homes, churches, communities, and nations according to today’s passage, we give the enemy (devil) room to bring about confusion and anything else he wants to do to prevent God’s best from manifesting in our lives.  Ephesians 4:27 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) also reminds us to “Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him].” Now, here is the Good News.  The kryptonite to envy and strife is the love of God.  So, no matter what we face, let us refuse to allow envy and strife to enter the picture.  And when it does, let’s immediately cut it off and command it to go in the authority of Jesus’ Name.  You tell envy and strife that you, your family, your community, and your nation are operating in the love of God, and you forbid any confusion or evil work from manifesting.
