Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“His Strength”

Psalm 27:1-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat [devour] up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.  4 One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the [delightfulness] beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.

5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His  tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.  6 And now my head shall be [Lifted up in honor] lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of [joyous shouts] joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Further Thought:  As you start this new day, you may not feel strong or feel like facing it.  Recognize that you are not alone.  According to Hebrews 13:5, Jesus said the Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit, will never leave you nor forsake you.  Now, if that wasn’t encouragement enough to get you going, today’s passage reminds us as believers that we are to take on every moment of our lives, not in our own strength and ability, but in the strength of our Lord.  Remember, according to Philippians 4:13, whatever God has called you to day today He has also given you His strength to accomplish it.  Now by faith, begin to declare out loud:  The Lord is my light and my salvation; I will not fear.  The Lord is the strength of my life; I will not be afraid.  According to Isaiah 54:17 No weapon [negative words spoken against me] formed against me shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against me in judgment I shall condemn.  This is my heritage [my right, my authority] as a son/daughter of the Most High God.  Somebody Shout Glory!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah
