What’s Your Desire

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“What’s Your Desire”

Mark 11:22, 24 King James Version (KJV)

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.

Further Thought:  Let’s understand our faith doesn’t move God.  God has already made available everything we need to live the victorious life He has called us to live [See 2 Peter 1:3-4].  Our faith, which is our positive response to what God has said and done, allows us to partake of what’s been given.  Now, most of us desire to have our desires manifested according to today’s passage. But we must also be willing to search the “Will” Jesus left, which is the Word of God, to ensure that what we desire is included in the Will. Understand that you can’t believe you receive something that God didn’t provide.  So here is your assignment, if you choose to participate: Throughout your day, meditate and chew on the desire you believe you receive. You see, when you believe you receive, you are fully persuaded that you have the desire, and it’s only a matter of time before it manifests.  Read verse 24 above again.  In the meantime, hold fast to your confession of faith.  Don’t allow anyone or anything to persuade you otherwise.

Confession of Faith: Father, I believe I receive my [you fill in the blank]. Thank you for confirming your word in my life.

So, when the thoughts come that you are not going to see the manifestation, your response should be” Father, I believe I receive my [you fill in the blank]. Thank you for confirming your word in my life”.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
